Summary

Note ID is built to need as little of your data as possible. Your collection stays on your device. We do not sell your personal information.

Photos you scan

When you identify a note, the photo you choose is sent to Google's Gemini AI service (via Firebase AI) to recognize the note's visible features. Photos are used only to return a result and are not used by us to identify you. We do not store your photos on our own servers.

Your collection

Notes you save are stored locally on your device. They are not uploaded unless a future sync feature is added, which would be clearly described and optional.

Account (optional)

You can use the app without an account. If you choose Sign in with Apple, we receive an anonymous Apple user identifier (and an email only if you allow it) solely to secure your account and link your membership across your devices.

Purchases

Purchases are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. We receive purchase status and an anonymous identifier — never your card details.

Diagnostics

We may use Firebase services that collect basic, aggregated diagnostics to keep the app working. This is not used to identify you personally.

Your choices & contact

You can delete your saved notes in the app at any time. If you sign in, you may request account deletion in Settings. For any privacy request, contact the email below.
